CONSIDERED DESIGN FOR NEW LUXURY DEVELOPMENT

Quality and style combine to deliver nine luxury residences in four buildings, worthy of one of Melbourne’s premier suburbs.

A development at home in refined surrounds

Respecting the scale and streetscape’s rhythm of the surrounding neighbourhood was critical to this development.

The townhouses – three-bedroom dwellings and two two-bedroom dwellings that integrate inside and out for sophisticated living – vary between three and two stories. The building forms step down towards the boundaries of the site and resembles four separate luxury homes.

Residential amenity driving design solutions

The design of the building takes advantage of a vast frontage to the main street and gives half of the townhouse resident direct street access. This also allows for a totally landscaped street presence in keeping with the lush surrounding gardens.

Similarly, providing a common basement space (with each townhouse offered a separate garage with direct stair access to the residence above) means the ground level common area could be entirely pedestrianised. Residents have a landscaped garden environment, rather than a series of driveways and garages.

A holistic design by luxury residential architects

The design of the townhouses focused on monochrome-toned materials for a minimalist expression. Metallic frames, fins and shrouds and frameless windows convey a hard-edged aesthetic that is softened by natural timber flourishes on screens and doors.

As experienced luxury residential architects, the practice’s designs for the townhouse interiors were light-filled and complete with all the creature comforts for residents. This includes a seamless transition between indoor and out, created through full-height glass doors to terraces and courtyards.

The high level of luxury in this development is also seen in the spacious bedrooms which feature walk-in robes and ensuites, and in the lavish kitchens with high-quality appliances and cabinetry.
