Timeless interior design
CLASSIC HOMES FOR MODERN TIMES
A familiarity with the Melbourne suburb of Glen Iris and its traditional architecture and streetscapes offered valuable insights when creating the classic interior design of The Maitland.
Downsizing space, upsizing luxury
For the development, the demographic was those who wanted to downsize on space without compromising on luxury, as well as young families and their growing needs.

Accordingly, spatial planning played a critical role in the design process for The Maitland, with storage a large component of the design brief from the developer.
Kitchens, bathrooms and ensuites all feature generous storage that exceeds most contemporary developments. All robe spaces go beyond the standard, allowing families to grow, or older couples to store precious life mementos.
A holistic commitment to quality
To reflect the commitment to quality and sophistication, neutral colours were used throughout each apartment. Natural stone in the kitchens, wide engineered timber flooring and porcelain tiles in the bathrooms combined with feature lighting to create an overall warm aesthetic.
Kitchens are fully equipped with Miele appliances, while bathrooms feature custom designed Omvivo basins.
Classic interior design and archetypal exteriors
With the site occupying a position in leafy Glen Iris, the interior design focused on integrating the indoor and outdoor areas. Open plan living spaces bring the outside in and fully embed the homes into their surrounding elements.
