The proximity to the beach and a heritage-listed African olive tree were the focal points for these architect designed townhouses in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Sandringham.

The six three-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom Beach House Terraces occupy the prized Abbott Street corner site, just a short walk to the Sandringham foreshore and its bayside lifestyle.

The terraces sit within a highly landscaped setting, with the heritage-listed African olive tree the centrepoint. The townhouses located on Abbott Street appear as three individual dwellings, each with its own clear identity. To the east and west of the site, the building forms act as book-ends to the single-storey residence.

Contemporary architect designed townhouses

The architectural design of the townhouses is confidently contemporary, with a limited colour palette employed deliberately.
